Josie Dunne, a senior at Lyons Township High School, is as down to earth and organically real as you get. Josie plays ukulele, piano, guitar, sings and writes. While her peers are listening to Justin Bieber and “One Direction,” Josie has Sarah Vaughn, Sam Cook, Bill Withers and Stevie Wonder on her iPhone. Josie has that rare gift, having nothing to do with music, of absolutely lighting up a room, and lighting up a stage. She’s natural, uninhibited, funny, and amazingly likeable.

Far-Sighted is back for a third year at Rocktoberfest! The La Grange band is comprised of Lyons Township High School students Christian Naval, Mitch Galgan and Nathan Zaworski. Their love of classic rock and blues brought them together about 3 years ago and they have been winning competitions throughout the Chicago area, most recently placing second at the State Battle of the Bands. Christian, on guitar and vocals, Mitch, on bass and vocals, and drummer Nathan are all classically trained musicians and play in the high school orchestra. They are a truly unique group with a strong sound which sets them apart. Despite their young age, Far-Sighted has been able to capture the vibe of classic rock gods like Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles.
