LT badminton teams to host event for fellow Lion

The Lyons Township High School badminton teams are hosting an Orange Crush event Thursday, April 16, 4-7pm in the North Campus fieldhouse upper gyms, 100 S. Brainard Ave., LaGrange. Those who purchased an Orange Crush t-shirt will be admitted for free; otherwise, there is a suggested donation of $10 per person. Once inside, participants can play badminton, enjoy music and refreshments, and there will be a raffle featuring items from local merchants.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Leukemia Society, whose color theme is orange. The guest of honor is Katie Palermo, a sophomore at LT and member of the badminton team, who is currently battling leukemia for the second time.
