LT celebrates Chinese New Year

LT's East Asian Culture Club and Chinese classes visit Spring Avenue Elementary School

Lyon Township High School’s East Asian Culture Club and Chinese classes recently sponsored a Chinese New Year celebration for about 70 students at Spring Avenue Elementary School. LT students taught the soon-to-be Lions about Chinese New Year by learning Chinese characters through calligraphy, making Chinese origami, knots and characters, playing Chinese games and instruments and singing Chinese songs.
