LT student-athletes support those in need

Recently, the boys' varsity volleyball and girls' varsity softball teams teamed up to pack food at the Feed My Starving Children Food Packing site in Aurora. Both teams donated money they collected from fundraising efforts during their seasons, and each team presented a check for $500 to the Feed My Starving Children organization. The teams worked feverishly to pack a record number of boxes in record time. The coaching staff of both teams also joined in the fun. Student athletes said packing food was a fun way to work together and do something for children in need.
