LT Theatre to present ‘Almost, Maine’

The Lyons Township High School Theatre Board proudly presents “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani. Faculty member Michael Kuehl is the director. Junior Kelly McDonnell, of Western Springs, is the assistant director and junior Taylor Schmitt, of LaGrange, is the stage manager.

On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream.

Performance dates are Friday, December 8, and Saturday, December 9, at 7pm and Sunday, December 10, at 3pm in the North Campus Reber Center, 100 S. Brainard Ave., LaGrange. Tickets are $10, $5 for children and senior citizens and free with an LTHS student ID. Tickets may be purchased in the box office before the show. The theatre opens 30 minutes before curtain and the show starts promptly.
