Winners in the annual Lyons Township High School Recycled Art Contest were recently announced. Hosted by Recycling Club, the contest encourages students to make art that promotes the 3 Rs- reduce, reuse and recycle. All forms of artwork were accepted (collage, sculpture, jewelry, drawing, etc.) and must have used at least 70 percent reused material. Halloween inspired artwork was encouraged but not required.
Winners received a gift card and their art is on display at the North Campus library throughout the month of November and posted on the district website.
