LTHS Steppers bound for Nationals

Members of the Lyons Township High School Steppers Club recently competed at Northern Illinois University against nine other high schools, earned second place at the state-wide competition and qualified for at Nationals. This is the first time in LT’s history that the Steppers have advanced to the national competition. The LT Steppers also received a team Sportsmanship Award at the state competition. The LT squad competes in the Coed High School Division of the Illinois Stepping League. The team hopes to compete in Atlanta on Saturday, June 13. The students are sponsored and coached by Head Coach Tamiaka Killins.
