The Lyons Township Booster Club Hosts Activities for Homecoming Weekend

The Lyons Township Booster Club is hosting events and activities through homecoming weekend.
The Boosters Lion Fest BBQ and spirit wear sale will be Sept. 27 during the homecoming football games, according to a news release. Boosters will be selling merchandise and raffle tickets throughout the games at Bennett Field, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. near concessions.
The raffle tickets are for the annual pack the place fundraiser, held in February. Tickets are 6 for $50 or $10 each. Order forms will also be available for Pride Walk bricks and stones.
“Through activities such as these, the Boosters have provided financial support to enhance the academic, athletic and fine art programs and activities at LTHS, including distributing more than $382,000 in scholarships since 1998 to over 280 deserving LT students through the Senior Honors program,” according to a statement in a news release.
Volunteers are needed to help out the Boosters with fundraisers, and volunteering is a good way to meet other parents.

They are open to the public and held on the second Tuesday of each month during the school year at 7 p.m. in South Campus, Room D-103.
