Man Accused Of Western Springs ATM Damage

In another case, a car's window was broken outside a strip mall, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

Damage

  • A 41-year-old Lyons man was arrested Oct. 26 on a charge of criminal damage to property. Police said he damaged the ATM at BMO Harris Bank on Aug. 31.
  • A rear driver's side window of a car was shattered between 7 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. Friday at the strip mall at 5520 Wolf Road. The damage was estimated at $500.

Porch piracy

  • A woman stole two packages from a front porch about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 4100 block of Clausen Avenue. The theft was reported two days later.

Warrant

  • A 62-year-old Downers Grove man was arrested on an out-of-county warrant and cited on charges of driving with no valid driver's license and driving with no insurance. It occurred about 2 p.m. Friday at Ogden and Grove avenues.
