Man Smashing Car Windows Put Schools on Lockdown Feb. 9
A 38-year-old man was taken into custody for smashing car windows in the parking lot of Kensington School of the Highlands in La Grange.

Kensington School of the Highlands in La Grange and others went on lockdown Monday after a man smashed 13 car windows in the school parking lot.
Cook County Sheriff’s Police were called to the area around 12:25 p.m. Feb. 9 to investigate, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office. A 38-year-old man was taken into custody. No one was injured.
The investigation is ongoing.

NBC Chicago reported that a note to parents said students were never in any danger.
