May Day Festival Held In Western Springs

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Western Springs Historical Society will host May Fest on Sunday, May 6 at the Tower Green. The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and will have fun and games for the whole family.

According to the historical society, the event is an "old-fashioned" celebration of spring. At last year's event, the fest had traditional carnival games, like a milk can toss and a bucket drop.
