Missing Person: Western Springs Native, University of Colorado Student
Berry "Tyler" Allen is missing from Boulder, Colorado. He is 6 feet tall, 140 pounds with with blond hair and blue eyes.
Police are searching for Berry Tyler Allen, a 20-year-old sophomore at the University of Colorado, who was last seen in Boulder, Colorado on April 14.
Allen is a Western Springs native. He’s 6 feet tall, 140 pounds with with blond hair and blue eyes, according to Boulder police. He sometimes wears thin glasses, the CU Independent reported.
Allen’s family has gone to Boulder to help look for him. They’ve set up a Facebook page, Find Tyler, to help organize search efforts, and they’re asking people to spread the word using the hashtag #FindTylerNow. A trail search is planned Wednesday, according to the page.

Allen’s mother told the Chicago Tribune that her son’s acoustic guitar is missing from his room in Boulder, and he carries it in a black case.
He doesn’t own a vehicle or a bicycle, Boulder police say.

Anyone with information on Allen’s whereabouts should contact Detective Sarah Cantu at 303-441-4328. Anyone who has information but wants to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or 1-800-444-3776.
Allen’s parents told the CU Independent that one of his roommates saw him on April 14. He sent a text message on April 16 to a roommate that said, “Oh, I’m alright, spent one night with a friend and one all nighter at [Norlin] library.” His parents reported him missing April 18.
