Nazareth Academy Students Named Illinois State Scholars

The students were selected for their SAT, ACT or Prairie State Achievement Exam scores or for their class rank at the end of junior year.

Thirty-eight Nazareth Academy students from the Class of 2015 have been recognized among this year’s Illinois State Scholars, according to a news release.

“We are extremely proud of these young men and women who represent our school not only in this area of academic achievement, but also as such outstanding individuals as well,” said Nazareth Academy Principal Deborah Tracy in a news release. “We congratulate them and their parents on this distinguished honor.”

More than 18,000 Illinois students this year received this honor. They represent about the top 10 percent of seniors from the state’s 671 high schools.
