New Pastor For Western Springs Church
He is only the fifth senior pastor in the church's nearly 70-year history.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – The Presbyterian Church of Western Springs has chosen a new pastor, the Rev. Dan Robertson, according to a church news release.
Robertson, who started in mid-August, has 14 years of church ministry experience, serving in Kansas City, San Francisco, New Orleans and Fairbury in central Illinois.
Robertson, known as Pastor Dan, is only the fifth senior pastor in the local church's history.

The Presbyterian Church of Western Springs was founded in 1955. The most recent senior pastor was the Rev. Erik Khoobyarian, who served from 2018 to 2022.
The others were the Rev. Warren E. Graham (1955-1970), the Rev. David Bebb Jones (1970-2000), and the Rev. Jennifer Burns Lewis (2003-2016).

The church said it conducted a nationwide search over the last year.
Robertson grew up in the Kansas City suburbs, meeting his wife, Sara, while attending college. They have two young children, Sophia and Andrew.
Robertson enjoys the outdoors, cooking, basketball, boating and board games, the church said.
In 2010, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. He received his master of divinity degree in 2014 from San Francisco Theological Seminary in Redlands, California.
In the news release, Robertson said he and his family immediately noticed the warmth of the local church's community.
"The warmth is apparent from the big corner lawn and playground available to the neighborhood to the friendly smiles and welcome on Sunday morning," he said.
