Nov. 30 Final Day to Put Leaves Out for Pickup

Western Springs residents who take advantage of the leaf pickup service by the Public Works Department are reminded that the final leaf pickup day is Dec. 1.

All leaves should be in the gutter or parkway by Nov. 30, according to the Western Springs website.

Only leaves should be put into the gutter. Branches, flowers, pumpkins and lawn clippings can cause problems with the system, according to the Public Works Department.
