prasino Celebrates Earth Hour with 'Raw' Tasting Menu Served by Candlelight

prasino LaGrange is celebrating Earth Hour 2015 by serving “raw” foods by candle light on March 28.
Earth Hour is an annual worldwide event that encourages people to turn off non-essential lights for one hour to show commitment to helping the planet, according to the organization’s website. This year’s Earth Hour takes place March 28 from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.
During that time, prasino guests will dine by candle light and choose from two tasting menus created by chef Luis Molino and his team, according to a news release.

The tasting menus will be served through the evening’s dinner service. Selections include:
Tasting Menu One (vegan and gluten free) - $25
Vegan ceviche
Asian-style seared tofu with corn and vegetable salad
Vegan chocolate mousse

Tasting Menu Two - $35
Whitefish ceviche
Seared rare ahi tuna with corn and vegetable salad
Vegan chocolate mousse
“Serving food in its purest form seems fitting as Earth Hour challenges all of us to be more cognitive of climate change and sustainability,” says prasino co-founder and general manager, Peggy Maglaris-Kopley, in a statement.
