Presbyterian Church of Western Springs Celebrates 60th Anniversary

The Presbyterian Church of Western Springs will celebrate its’ 60th anniversary with a special worship service Sunday, October 18, 2015, at 9:30 am. The worship will feature:
Celebration of the Lord’s Supper
Special Reunion Choir
Special Guests:
The Reverend Mr. David Bebb Jones, Pastor Emeritus, preaching
The Reverend Mr. Mark Gauen,
The Reverend Ms. Jennifer Parker-Wrzeszcz, The Reverend Thomas A. Brown, leading worship.

The church has also challenged the congregation to a Sixty for 60 challenge. In honor of the church’s 60th anniversary, and in the spirit of their long-standing commitment to helping others, they will celebrate with Sixty for 60! The challenge: Complete SIXTY Acts of Kindness in celebration and gratitude for 60 years .....in 60 Days!! The challenge began September 15 and concludes November 15. Members are encouraged to send an email with a description of their act of kindness to the church and include a photograph.
