Recycling Event Accepting Unwanted Electronics and Non-Perishable Food

Bring unwanted electronics Saturday, Oct. 11, to the Westchester Village Hall for recycling.

The Village of Westchester is hosting an E-Waste event Saturday, Oct. 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Westchester Village Hall, according to the Western Springs calendar.

The recycling event was created for household items, and business-related items may not be accepted.

The Environmental Sustainability Commission sponsors Westchester’s E-Waste events, and the commission is also collecting non-perishable food items for the Westchester Food Pantry.
