Register Now for Parent University 2016, Sponsored by Parent Community Network

Parent Community Network’s 19th Annual Parent University is scheduled for Saturday, January 30, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. at Lyons Township High School - South Campus, 4900 S. Willow Springs Road, Western Springs. Parent University is open to the general public and we welcome parents and educators from communities and schools outside Lyons Township to attend.

Parent University is an educational forum for parents and educators of children from toddler age through young adulthood. The event begins with a keynote address, followed by two breakout sessions of your choosing from among 14 topics of interest, led by professionals in the areas of psychology, cooking/meal planning, social work, education, and parent coaching. New this year is the availability of online registration at www.parentcommunitynetwork.com.

This year’s keynote will be given by highly sought after clinical psychologist and best-selling author of “The Available Parent: Expert Advice for Raising Successful, Resilient, and Connected Teens and Tweens,” Dr. John Duffy, Psy. D. (drjohnduffy.com). Dr. Duffy will address The Anxiety Problem in Parenting: Managing Yours, Minimizing Your Child’s.
