Restaurant Not Coming To Western Springs, Despite Earlier Plan
A company had planned to replace its local restaurant with a new brand.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – A company that owns several restaurant brands had planned to replace its eatery in Western Springs.
But the firm dropped the plan last week, according to the village government.
In response to a Patch inquiry, the village said Davanti Enoteca, an Italian restaurant at 800 Hilgrove Ave., is staying, despite an earlier plan to replace it with Vasili's restaurant. Vasili's now has a location in Naperville, serving Mediterranean food.
