Under blue skies and mild conditions the morning of April 19, Nazareth Academy’s Alumni Association welcomed runners, walkers, strollers and volunteers to its third annual Roadrunner Dash 5k Run/Walk.
The race began and ended at Nazareth Academy’s campus, with the 5k route winding its way through La Grange Park. Many Nazareth alumni brought their children to run along with them. According to Alumni Relations Coordinator Katherine Fernholz, “After the success of our first two races, we have found that this is a great way to bring together many generations of alumni with the surrounding community. We are pleased to offer a fun and engaging opportunity for participants of all ages.” All proceeds from the race benefit Nazareth Academy.
