School Closures Day 2: Some Western Springs/La Grange Schools Announce Second Snow Day

Lincoln School in Brookfield will be closed.
Cossitt School will be closed.
D102 will be closed.
D106 will be closed.
Forest Road School will be closed.
Ogden Avenue School will be closed
LADSE will close at noon.
Park Junior High School will be closed.
Learning Ladders Preschool classes are canceled.
Pleasantdale Elementary School will be closed.
D208 (Riverside Brookfield High School) will be open Jan. 8 on the normal late start schedule.
CDI Head Start At Ideal School in Countryside will be closed (employees to report)

Update 1/7 8:50 p.m.
LaGrange School District 105 schools will be closed Jan. 8. Early morning music programs on Jan. 8 are also canceled.

Extreme winter temperatures have closed several schools for a second day.

Check back as this list will be updated as more information about school closings and openings becomes available.

The following Western Springs and La Grange area schools have reported they will be closed Thursday, Jan. 8, according to the Emergency Closing Center website.

• Brookfield-LaGrange Park District 95
• Lyons Township High School District 204
• Lyons Township High School/North Campus
• Lyons Township High School/South Campus (Western Springs)
• CDI Head Start At Congress Park School (employees to report)

St. Louise De Marillac School has stated it will be open for school tomorrow, Jan. 8.

Nazareth Academy has not announced a decision.
