Scissors Stolen, Trespassing: Western Springs Cops

A woman reported that $2,000 in scissors were taken from her car, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Western Springs police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

  • A bag containing four scissors valued at $2,000 was stolen on the weekend of Feb. 26 and Feb. 27 from a woman's car in the 6000 block of Flagg Creek Lane.
  • A house under construction was trespassed last Tuesday or Wednesday in the 4200 block of Gilbert Avenue. A rear door was damaged, the side door was open, and other discrepancies were noted from how the house was left by contractors.
  • Mario Segura Jr., 37, of Cicero, was cited about 3 a.m. Thursday at 55th Street and Wolf Road on charges of driving with a suspended license and no tail lights. He was released on bond.
  • Keith A. Bryson, 32, of Lyons, was cited about 3 p.m. Friday at Ogden and Harvey avenues on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was released on bond.
  • Abel C. Orozco, 26, of Lyons, was cited about 12:30 p.m. Monday at Grand Avenue and 47th Street on charges of expired driver's license and speeding. He was released on bond.
