Seven Troop 12 Scouts Celebrate Earning the Rank of Eagle Scout

Western Springs, IL February 21, 2026 – Lachlan Gantt, Tyler Gantt, Luke Gough, John Pogue, Quinn Robinson, Aaron Rothman and JJ Svelnis, all members of Boy Scout Troop 12 located in Western Springs, have earned the honor of Eagle Scout, the highest rank that the Boy Scouts offers. Only 6 percent of Boy Scout members ever attain this prestigious honor.

All seven scouts achieved a minimum of 21 eagle required merit badges, served in positions of leadership, and subsequently designed, planned, and completed an original final project encompassing giving leadership to others, having a positive impact on a community beneficiary, and service incorporating elements of challenge and complexity.

A ceremony honoring these scouts will take place on Saturday, February 21st at 2:00pm in The Chapel at the First Congregational Church, Western Springs.

Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Troop 12 is part the Pathway to Adventure Council.
