Sex Offenders Register In Western Springs: Cops

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs' police blotter remains sparse compared with other towns. Arrests are few and far between.

On Tuesday, the police department reported three items.

One of them was the arrest of Anthony Gonzalez, 52, of Cicero, on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. It occurred about 10:30 a.m. March 13 at Grand Avenue and 55th Street.

The police also reported that two registered sex offenders completed their annual registrations – one on Friday and the other on Monday.

According to the state's database, the village has two registered sex offenders. That compares to one in La Grange and none in Hinsdale.
