Special Red Mailbox Collecting Letters to Santa
Bring letters for Santa to the red mailbox east of the Riverside water tower on Longcommon.

Children looking to send letters to Santa can use a special mailbox in Riverside.
The red mailbox is on Longcommon, east of the Riverside water tower, according to a Riverside news flash. Santa will answer letters with a return address. Letters must be in the box before noon on Dec. 19 to get a reply from Santa.
Holiday lovers can also attend the Holiday Stroll on Dec. 5 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Riverside’s Central Business District and at businesses along Harlem Avenue. The stroll is hosted by the Riverside Parks & Recreation Department. Holiday Stroll participants can decorate and eat a holiday treat.

Riverside is also hosting a gift wrapping class Dec. 10 from 4:15 to 5:15 in Scout Cabin (417 Fairbank Road). The class fee is $12 for residents and $20 for non-residents. Class participants can choose to bring something to donate to Toys for Tots.
