The forum will be held Sept. 6 at Western Springs Village Hall.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — State Representative and Republican Patti Bellock of Hinsdale invites Western Springs residents to attend the forum, “Understand & Learn How to Appeal Your Property Taxes” to educate and empower homeowners about the process for determining property taxes and how to appeal if they are being over-assessed. The forum will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6 in the lower level of Western Springs Village Hall, 740 Hillgrove Ave. The topic will be presented by a representative from the Cook County Assessor's Office (for residents of Lyons Township).

“We welcome every local homeowner to attend our property tax forum to learn about the process and get their questions answered,” Bellock said in a release. “We are grateful that our local assessors have agreed to offer these forums as an informational resource for area homeowners and property tax payers.”
