Subway in Western Springs Celebrates Ribbon-Cutting

The Subway in Western Springs' Garden Market Shopping Center held its ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday, according to Western Springs director of community development Martin Scott.

Owner Bart Elezi cut the ribbon flanked by village trustees Suzy Glowiak, Jim Horvath and Patrick Word, as well as store manager Almir Sulejmani.

"Mr. Elezi is well versed in the restaurant business since he is owner of other Subway franchises," Scott's release states. "The crew at Subway is eager to serve all who enter the store whether grabbing a quick sandwich or catering for a crowd."
