Teens & Tweens needed for Thomas Ford Library Book Buddies!
Thomas Ford Library's Book Buddies pairs Teens and Tweens with a younger "buddy" to explore new books and make fun crafts.
The Library Book Buddies program wants 4th-8th Graders to share their love of reading with younger buddies. We have a full list--in fact, a waiting list--for younger children who want to participate, but we need more Teens and Tweens to pair with them. From 4-5 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 19, and 26, Book Buddies will explore new books and make a fun craft. Teen and Tween sign-up can be done in person at the Library, by calling (708) 246-0520, or at fordlibrary.org. Besides having a good time and helping others, this is a great opportunity for service hours!
