Genealogist Liz Ross presents "Show & Tell" Heirlooms Program at Thomas Ford Library

We all have inherited belongings from previous generations that tell our family’s history, whether they’re pictures from the 1880’s, certificates from the Masons, or a Cougars’ foul ball that hit a family member. Join genealogist Liz Ross for an evening of show and tell, exploring current standards for keeping objects in good condition, and perhaps grinning about some out-of-the-box thinking for dealing with Aunt Margaret’s collection of 500 tiny frogs! The program will run from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Thomas Ford Library, 800 Chestnut St. To register, call 708-246-0520 or go to fordlibrary.org.
