Theatre Of Western Springs Presents ‘Jake’s Women’
The Theatre of Western Springs presents the fourth Mainstage play of its 89th season, "Jake's Women."
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Theatre of Western Springs presents the fourth Mainstage play of its 89th season, “Jake’s Women,” written by Neil Simon and directed by Tripp Burton. Performances will take place at TWS, 4384 Hampton Ave., Western Springs.
The theatre said the show will run:
• 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays – April 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28
• 2:30 p.m. Sundays, April 22 and April 29
• 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 28
• 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 22

“Neil Simon writes funny, and this play is filled with great one-liners and gags, but we often forget that he also writes really great characters,” Director Tripp Burton said in a release. “I think this play is one of his most heartfelt. You leave the theatre thinking a little more than you may expect.”

“We are in an apartment, but it has no walls and that always excites me as a director,” he said in a release, “because this is a play that is a bit more theatrical and imaginative than most of Simon’s plays.”
Tickets are $22 and $20.
