These Western Springs Roads To Be Resurfaced: Village
The money for the projects is coming from the state. The Village Board approved the streets.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs plans to resurface portions of five streets this year, paid for with state money.
Here are the streets:
- Western Avenue, from Walnut to Willow streets
- Race Street, just west of Western Avenue
- Park Place, from Grand to Woodland avenues
- 46th Street, from Wolf Road to Gilbert Avenue
- Longmeadow Lane, from Grand Avenue to Ridgewood Drive
The Village Board approved the choice of streets at its meeting Monday. The money is coming from gas taxes and Rebuild Illinois.
