These Western Springs Roads To Be Resurfaced: Village

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs plans to resurface portions of five streets this year, paid for with state money.

Here are the streets:

• Western Avenue, from Walnut to Willow streets
• Race Street, just west of Western Avenue
• Park Place, from Grand to Woodland avenues
• 46th Street, from Wolf Road to Gilbert Avenue
• Longmeadow Lane, from Grand Avenue to Ridgewood Drive

The Village Board approved the choice of streets at its meeting Monday. The money is coming from gas taxes and Rebuild Illinois.
