These Western Springs Streets Slated For Upgrades

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Late last week, Western Springs released a list of streets that it wants to resurface next year:

• Western Avenue (Walnut Street to dead end, just south of Willow Street)
• Race Street (Western Avenue to dead end)
• Park Place (Grand to Woodland avenues)
• Walnut Alley (Walnut Avenue to dead end)
• Longmeadow Lane (Ridgewood Drive to Grand Avenue)
• 46th Street (Gilbert Avenue to Wolf Road)

The village said it hopes to bid out the projects early next year.
