Thomas Ford Friends group cancels donations & book sale for 2020
COVID-19 prevents adequate storage and the ability of Western Springs Library Friends to sort materials.
“We will not be able to take donations this year, or to have a book sale,” announced Bonnie Engel, Acting President of the Western Springs Library Friends. She further explained, “Because of COVID-19, adequate, appropriate space is not available to store donations, and the Friends will not be able to come into the library to sort materials. In the past, Thomas Ford Memorial Library patrons have been very generous with their book donations, support of the Friends and book sales, and we are most grateful.”
