Thomas Ford Library Closes For Renovations

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Thomas Ford Memorial Library will be closed for almost two weeks in January for renovations. The library will be closed starting Jan. 7 through Jan. 18, and the library said no Thomas Ford materials will be due during the closure. All due dates will be extended to Jan. 19.

If you have a book on hold, it will not be available for pick-up at the library, but you will retain your place in the hold queue and your holds will be filled after the library reopens.

The library said the book drop will remain open, however items will not be checked in until Jan. 19. You may also return materials to any neighboring libraries for immediate check-in.

Renovations will continue through May, and the library will be open regular hours.
