Unlocked $1K Bike Stolen In Western Springs: Cops
In another case, an Apple Watch was stolen from a package in a local neighborhood, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:
Theft
- An unlocked bicycle valued at $1,000 was reported stolen from a bike rack July 11 in the 900 block of Burlington Avenue.
- Someone stole $50 in items July 9 from Mariano's grocery store, 4700 Gilbert Ave.
- An Apple Watch valued at $327 was stolen from a FedEx package that was delivered June 25 in the 200 block of 51st Street.
DUI

- Baron F. Pierce, 31, of Chicago was arrested about 5 p.m. Saturday in the 4800 block of Wolf Road on charges of DUI and following too closely. He was released on bond.
Driving violations
- A Chicago man whose age was not given was cited about 4 p.m. Saturday at 55th Street and Wolf Road on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving with a suspended registration. He was released on bond.
- A 36-year-old man from Cicero was cited about 5 p.m. Thursday at Wolf Road and 51st Street on a charge of driving with a suspended license. He was released on bond.
- A 56-year-old man from Cicero was cited about 1 p.m. Saturday in the 5500 block of Wolf Road on charges of having no valid driver's license and driving a vehicle with a suspended registration. He was released on bond.
