Unlocked Cars Broken Into In Western Springs Neighborhood: Cops
A pair of sunglasses valued at $200 ended up being stolen, authorities said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:
- A resident in the 4000 block of Central Avenue told police Wednesday that someone entered his three unlocked cars overnight and stole a pair of sunglasses valued at $200.
- Walgreens, 4700 Gilbert Ave., reported Thursday that a suspect tried to steal merchandise from the store. The suspect left the store without the items.
- A 31-year-old La Grange man was arrested about 2 a.m. July 7 at Ogden Avenue and Wolf Road on charges of no valid driver's license, driving an uninsured car and driving with an expired registration.
