Unlocked Western Springs Garage, Car Burglarized: Cops

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

• A car and a garage, both unlocked, were reported burglarized Aug. 2 in the 4000 block of Gilbert Avenue. A TV and a speaker were stolen. The items were valued at $425.
• A 46-year-old man from Chicago was cited July 30 in the 700 block of 47th Street on charges of driving with an expired driver's license and driving with an expired registration.
• A 25-year-old man from Melrose Park was cited Aug. 2 at Ogden and Gilbert avenues on charges of driving with no valid driver's license, driving with an expired registration and driving with no front license plate.
