Vote to Endorse Candidates at Village-Wide Caucus Meeting

The following information is from the Village of Western Springs.

Elected Western Springs’ government officials from the Village Board, Library Board and Park Board are nominated and elected through a single-party nonpartisan town hall meeting system or “Village Caucus” of its residents. Candidates, who have been nominated from the precinct meetings, for the elective positions of Village Trustee, Library Board Trustee and Park Board Commissioner will be introduced at the Village–wide Caucus meeting on Thursday, December 4. Following a vote by those present, the candidates will be considered the caucus endorsed candidates and their names will be placed on the official ballot for the April 7, 2015 election. All residents of voting age are Village Caucus Party members and are invited to attend. More information on the Caucus Party and election information is available at wscaucus.wix.com/wsc.
