Wallet Stolen At LTHS' South Campus: Cops

In another case, a flag is stolen from the front of a house, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Monday. Here is information from the reports:

Theft

  • A male reported about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday that his wallet was stolen from the pocket of his shorts, which were in a locker at Lyons Township High School's South Campus.

Stolen flag

  • A flag and a pole on an exterior front wall of a house were stolen June 11 in the 1200 block of Maple Street. The flag pole mount was damaged.

Vandalism

  • A rock was thrown through a bay window at a house in the 4600 block of Lawn Avenue. The damage was reported Wednesday.

Driving violations

  • A 57-year-old man from Evanston was cited about 11 a.m. June 12 at Ogden Avenue and Wolf Road on charges of driving with a suspended license, driving with an expired license and driving an uninsured car. He was released on bond.
  • A 23-year-old man of Berwyn was cited about 3 p.m. June 12 at 55th Street and Grand Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, following too closely and speeding. He was released on bond.
