Western Springs 2018 Sex Offender Halloween Safety Map

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Before the kids go out trick-or-treating on Halloween, it is a good time to take inventory of who is living in your neighborhood. Western Springs has one registered sex offender listed on the Illinois Sex Offender Registry, and that person is noted as a sexual predator.

That person's address and crime information is:

• Tate Madler, DOB: 12/7/1968, 4042 Lawn, Crimes: child pornography/film/photos (2 counts). Victim was 16 years of age, offender was 39 at the time of the offense.

Registered sex offenders are prohibited from passing out candy on Halloween. They may not appear in a Halloween costume or other child-centered holiday character, such as Santa or the Easter Bunny, in public. Registered sex offenders, however, may wear a Halloween costume in their home, according to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.
