Western Springs and La Grange Area Emergency Closings for Monday

Information has begun to trickle in as winter weather threatens to close schools and other facilities on Monday, Feb. 2. A blizzard warning is in effect until midnight.

Here’s what we know so far for the La Grange area, based on school districts and the Emergency Closing Center website. We’ll update this page as more information becomes available.

Closed on Feb. 2:

• St. Cletus School
• St. John’s Lutheran School, La Grange
• St. Louise De Marillac School
• District 102
• District 105
• District 106
• Plesantdale District 107
• St. John of the Cross
• Lyons Township High School District 204
• Nazareth Academy
• School District 95
• Western Springs Senior Center

Western Springs District 101 is planning to be in session during regular school hours Feb. 2. Should any delay or cancellation be decided upon in the morning, parents and staff will be notified via the Emergency Contact System.

Riverside Brookfield High School will be open following a Thursday Late start schedule. Classes will begin 8:40 am.
