Western Springs and La Grange Area Schools to Open Friday
Schools will decide whether to hold classes Friday after extreme winter temperatures caused some suburban closures Wednesday and Thursday.

Dangerously low winter temperatures kept some suburban schools closed Wednesday and Thursday this week. The fate of Friday classes is still to-be-determined for many schools.

The following Western Springs and La Grange area schools have reported they will be open Friday, Jan. 9, according to the Emergency Closing Center website and school/district websites.
