Western Springs Garden Club awards Scholarships!
WSGC is awarding multiple $500-$1000 scholarships to college-bound residents of District 204.
The Western Springs Garden Club is accepting applications for $500-$1000 scholarships for high school seniors or students currently enrolled in a college or vocational school who live in Lyons Township High School District 204. Applicants should be planning to pursue a degree in environmentally related fields of study such as conservation, agronomy, agriculture, botany, environmental studies, forestry, horticulture, and landscape design/architecture. High school students are asked to complete an application, prepare an essay, and have an adviser or instructor submit a letter of recommendation. College and vocational students, as well as former WSGC scholarship winners who wish to reapply, are to submit an unofficial transcript of grades and classes, and a brief statement outlining activity and club involvement. Application forms are available at the high school guidance offices, you may download and print from our website below, or call Mary Kubalanza at 708-784-0940.
