Western Springs Hosts Household Cleanup Day

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The annual village-wide spring cleanup day will be held on Saturday, May 12 in Western Springs. According to the village, all garbage should be placed out no later than 6 a.m. on your collection day.

Electronic waste is not accepted during this event. However, acceptable items include: household items, bulk items like furniture and bikes, large appliances, carpet, clothing and drapes.

Unacceptable items include construction debris, household garbage, scrap lumber, concrete, lawn mowers, car parts, yard waste or tires.
