Western Springs Man Falls To Death From Streeterville Hotel: POLICE

A 21-year-old man from Western Springs fell to his death from a hotel early Sunday morning in what authorities are terming a suicide, DNA Info reported.

The Western Springs man was found unresponsive on the sidewalk in the 300 block of East Ohio Street around 1 a.m. WGN News said that the man had fallen from a window at the DoubleTree Hotel. He was pronounced dead when paramedics arrived. The man is believed to have fallen at least 18 floors, according to NBC Chicago.

The Cook County Medical Examiner attributed the cause of death to multiple injuries due to a fall from heights.

Another man fell to his death from the same hotel in August.

The man’s name has been released. No further information is available.
