Western Springs Man Faces DUI Charge After Driving Off Road: Police

In another case, a La Grange Park man was arrested following a crash with injuries, authorities said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – A Western Springs man was charged with DUI after driving off the road last week, police said.

The 42-year-old man, who lives in the 4900 block of Creek Drive, was also charged with driving an uninsured car, not having his driver's license with him and parking more than a foot from the curb, police said.

The incident occurred about 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 5300 block of Lawn Avenue, police said.

  • A 29-year-old La Grange Park man, who lives in the 1400 block of Newberry Avenue, was arrested about 7:30 p.m. April 1 in the 4400 block of Gilbert Avenue on charges of DUI, improper overtaking on the left and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Police said they responded to a crash with injuries.

Fraud

  • A resident in the 3900 block of Johnson Avenue told police March 30 about being scammed out of $28,000 from two accounts. The fraud occurred over the internet.
