Western Springs Police Aggressively Enforcing Seat Belt Laws in May
Police will work to reduce traffic crash deaths and injuries during the Memorial Day holiday.

Western Springs police will be aggressively enforcing seat belt and child safety seat laws from May 14 to 25 as part of the “Click it or Ticket” safety campaign in Illinois.
Hundreds of law enforcement agencies in Illinois, the Illinois Department of Transportation and the Illinois State Police will work to reduce traffic crash deaths and injuries during the Memorial Day holiday, according to a news release.
Children in Illinois are requred to be in a car seat or booster seat until age 8, at least. All children younger than 13 should ride in the back seat.
