Western Springs Police Reports: Arrest Warrant, Retail Theft, Car Burglary
Western Springs Police Department provided crime and arrest information through March 30.

Michael R. Dina, age 55 of the 12300 block of South 81st Street, Palos Park, was stopped by police around 10:27 a.m. March 24 for driving a vehicle with a loud muffler at Howard and Ogden avenues, according to Western Springs police. A records check showed his license was suspended and he also had an outstanding arrest traffic warrant out of Will County, police reported.
A 16-year-old male juvenile from La Grange was arrested and issued a local ordinance March 27 at Mariano’s on Gilbert Avenue after a Mariano’s employee saw the teenager trying to steal a pack of pens, according to Western Springs police. The pens had a value of $4.69.

Someone stole a personal electronic device March 23 from an unlocked car parked on a residential driveway in the 1100 block of Longmeadow Lane, according to Western Springs police. The device had an undetermined value.
