Western Springs Police Reports: Beer Theft, DUI, Stolen Catalytic Converter
Western Springs Police Department provided crime and arrest information through Dec. 29.

Terrence A. Graves, age 29 of 100 Sawyer Ave., was arrested Dec. 26 for driving with a suspended license, according to Western Springs police. Graves was stopped at Ogden Avenue and Gilbert Avenue for speeding, and he didn’t have insurance, according to police.
Ann L. Stafford, age 44 of 4397 Prospect Ave., Western Springs, was arrested Dec. 26 for driving while intoxicated, according to Western Springs police. An officer saw Stafford in the driver’s seat of a car that was parked on a public sidewalk. The officer smelled alcohol while speaking to Stafford and he saw her eyes were bloodshot. Stafford was arrested for DUI after submitting to a series of field sobriety tests, according to Western Springs police.

Tiniya K. Leflore, age 22 of 9930 S. Perry Ave., was arrested Dec. 28 for driving with a suspended license, according to Western Springs police. Leflore was stopped at Wolf Road and Ogden Avenue for a defective windshield.
Eric R. Davis, age 18 of 5S620 Ridgeview Lane, Naperville, was arrested Dec. 28 for driving with a suspended license, according to Western Springs police. Davis was stopped at 55th Street and Wolf Road for driving with a suspended registration plate. A records check showed his driver’s license was also suspended. He also didn’t have insurance, according to Western Springs police.

A thief stole 10 bottles of beer Dec. 23 from a refrigerator in an unlocked attached garage in the 600 block of 54th Place, according to Western Springs police. A white SUV was seen in the area before the theft took place around 8:30 a.m.
A thief stole a catalytic converter Dec. 24 from a car parked at Garden Market on the 2700 block of Gilbert Avenue, according to Western Springs police. The theft took place between noon and 5 p.m.
